They call me Eugene (Evgenij) Kravt­sov. I was begot­ten in the glor­i­ous town of Dubna, Moscow Region, Rus­sia in the year 1981 c. e., month of Septem­ber, day 23^rd, in the eve, pre­sum­ably ten minutes to seven o’clock.

The Ori­gin of Sobriquettes

By pop­u­lar demand of the huddled masses, here’s the story of my nick: once (circa 2000) I was typ­ing Eng­lish ver­sion of my name (Eugene). How­ever, at the time I had Rus­sian key­board lay­out, so instead I typed “Угпуту”. By the way of trans­lit­er­a­tion I pro­duced “Ug’poo’too” from which by con­cat­en­a­tion I got “Ug”, then “theUg”. So there. Also they called me earth­worm as well as other things which I can­not now say for shame.

Inter­est­ingly

I have a great many interests, as an uomo uni­ver­sale should, to which I strive. Mainly, fol­low­ing areas of human know­ledge: his­tory, engin­eer­ing, archi­tec­ture, mil­it­ary and mari­time sci­ence, lin­guist­ics, philo­logy, music and many more.

Enthu­si­ast­ic­ally

Love to drink beer, love women, play gui­tar, and also motor­cycles and cars, com­puter games, scale mod­el­ling and toy rail­roads (scaled 1:87 (16 mm)), this, that, and many other things — at dif­fer­ent times in dif­fer­ent sequence.

Phys­ic­ally Fit

Ama­teur du sports and ama­teur sports­man. Cer­tainly, №1 — his majesty, foot­ball. In Rus­sia I par­ti­cip­ated in youth teams with FC “Nauka” (Dubna) and FC “Kryo­gen­mash” (Balashikha). In USA — two-time win­ner of 1^st divi­sion of regional (pop. ~300 000) ama­teur league (with FC “Inter­na­tion­als” and “Rudar-Prijedor”). Career stats for ~30 comet­it­ive adult ama­teur matches: 2 goals, 1 assist, 1 yel­low card (1^st divi­sion: 14 games, 4 starts, 1 goal). Cham­pion of the premier divi­sion of the local indoor league (12 games, 1 goal, 3 assists in 2 ses­sions of the 07 — 08 winter season).

Also, fan­cier of yacht­ing (three 3^rd place fin­ishes in youth races with Dubna’s JINR YC in the Optim­ist class). Love, watch and par­ti­cip­ate in hockey, bas­ket­ball, ski­ing and so forth.
